Loker

About 3 km (1.9 miles) from this quietly located holiday home stands the picturesque village of Loker.

This village has two groceries, a number of cafes and restaurants, a service station, a church and a playground.

 

Black Hill and Red Hill

On top of these hills you can relax and enjoy the panoramic views.

The northeast side of Black Hill is in the territory of Westouter, the top belongs to France.

You can also take a funicular between both hills.

 

Kemmel Hill

This is Flanders’ most well-known hill. It is 156m high and the highest hilltop of Flanders.


Several walking routes pass through the entire area and offer magnificent views. Part of the area is laid out as play forest.

You may encounter a few slopes during your walk, but you really don’t have to be an experienced hiker.
